OUR JOURNEY & MISSION

안녕하세요 Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Pastor Daniel Jeong, my wife and three children are so blessed to be part of the Good News Denver Church family. Our journey began 11 years ago when we arrived in the U.S. as missionaries from South Korea. We started our church in a small two-bedroom apartment, often struggling to make ends meet. There were times when we had nothing but soy sauce and rice to eat, times when we couldn't afford gas and had to walk everywhere. When our first daughter was just a year old, we had no place to live and spent six months sleeping in our car. Despite these hardships, we never lost faith. We trusted in God and waited with hope, believing He had a greater plan.

Three years ago, by the grace of God, we miraculously acquired a 1.7-acre property and 19,000 sq. ft. building. Knowing that this was a blessing from the Lord, we dedicated ourselves to giving back to the community in every way we could.

At Good News Denver Church, we are passionate about serving others and sharing the love of God. We are committed to making a real difference in the lives of those around us, and that's why we've developed several outreach programs:

Gracias Christmas Cantata: Each year, we invite the community to a free Christmas performance. It's a joy to share this special time with so many, and we've been blessed to touch the lives of over 30,000 people throughout this event.
Community Garden: We believe in nourishing both body and soul. Our community garden allows us to grow and donate over 3,000 pounds of fresh produce annually to local food banks..
Senior Outreach: We want to support and encourage our seniors, and we do this through various community programs designed just for them.
Free Korean Classes: We love sharing our culture and language with the community through free Korean classes.
Taste of Korea: This free annual festival is our way of saying thank you to the American people. Last year, we welcomed over 6,000 people to experience Korean culture.

Plans

We're also excited about our future plans! We're working towards opening an academy and a free daycare for low-income families. We believe in the power of community and are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those around us. We invite you to join us on this journey!

WHAT WE BELIEVE

BIBLE

The Bible is the holy and infallible Word of God for it is the Truth and there is no falsehood and error.

GOD

God in essence is one but exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

JESUS

Jesus Christ is the Son of God in the flesh, being a perfect human without sin. He took away our sin to wash away the sin of the world by being crucified on the cross. He was resurrected after three days.

HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit abides in the heart of the Saints, administering instructions and guidance.

SALVATION

Salvation is not of the righteousness of man but of God’s righteousness through Jesus Christ, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for us. It is solely accomplished by the grace of God.

CHURCH

Church is the gathering of saints that have been sanctified in Jesus Christ. Church conducts ceremonies such as services, holy communions, fellowship and baptism.

LAST DAY

God will bring the world to its end in His own time and way. Jesus Christ will return with glory in literal and visible way to the earth. The dead will be raised. The bodies of those born again will be raised in their glorified existence and will dwell forever in Heaven with God. The bodies of sinners will stand in judgment before Him and will be consigned to Hell for everlasting punishment.
